American Kids Try Ethiopian Food

By Ethiopia Zare

Seven American kids try some of Ethiopian traditional foods served for breakfast, lunch and dessert. They were served Kita Fir Fir (Chechebsa) as breakfast meal, injera with Dorowot and egg, Gomenwot and Tikilegomen as lunch meal and Bunna (Coffee) with Ambasha as a dessert.

Some of the kids never heard of Ethiopia before. One of the kids said “very unusual tradition”, and the food was spicy for them. They tried to eat with fingers because no fork was served, and also learned how Ethiopians share meals with others.
